The retail outlet and café is located on the banks of the Duck River and is open from 10 am-3 pm Tuesday to Friday & 11am-3pm Saturdays for a variety of takeaway oysters and other Tasmanian products. Seated dining is available from 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday to Saturday with the menu providing many oyster options to enjoy with wine, cider or craft beer or soft drinks. The award-winning oysters are grown just five minutes from the shop / cafe and shucked fresh daily. The CHArts Festival is a month-long celebration of culture, heritage, and the arts in Circular Head, North West Tasmania. Curated and funded by Circular Head Council, it showcases creatives across the region and beyond, while offering residents and visitors a chance to enjoy exhibitions, mostly displayed in local cafes and businesses. The CHArts Festival celebrates culture, values heritage, and encourages creative expression. The gallery features competition entries for the 'Chartchilbald' prize, sculptures, photography, youth art and more. The official festival and gallery opening is on the 31st of August 2025 at 2.30 pm at 59 Emmett Street, Smithton.
