Lounge in the comfortable armchairs in the Bar by the blazing wood fire, and browse the amazing collection of old black and white photos of Stanley dating back to the 1830s. Enjoy a great selection of Tasmanian wines, ciders, spirits and beers. You might see the muddy boots left outside the door where the local farmers have popped in for a drink after dropping off their freshly dug potatoes or have a yarn to Stanley's fisherman who provides the seafood just back from their daily catch. They provide the usual pub fare with a stylish twist plus on-trend restaurant dishes influenced by what we see out of the windows – seafood, great steaks and farmed abalone. Their suppliers are their friends and are just as likely to be sitting at the table next to you. Friendly, open and knowledgeable staff will make you feel very welcome.
