Located opposite a cherry orchard close to supermarkets and food outlets, the property has land for off grid self contained camping and caravans. Unfortunately we do not have toilet facilities on the property. It's within 20 minutes of Hobart, within 2 km of Bonnorong wild life park and 1 km from motor racing circuit. Close to the picturesque town of Richmond a colonial town established in early 1800s. Dog friendly but must be controlled as we have many native animals such as galahs, native hens, ducks, rosella's, echidnas. We grow our own vegetables, have a vast array of fruit trees and variety of berries and free range eggs. Guest's must have their own toilet and shower facilities on board.

Derwent Retreat is a self-contained waterfront holiday house at Austins Ferry, in Tasmania's South, most suitable for large groups and owners with traveling pets. Set on the banks of the River Derwent, it features privacy, absolute waterfront, and views. All main rooms have a view of the river and Mt Direction and the property is ideal for business or pleasure visits. Derwent Retreat is fully furnished and accommodates up to eleven guests. The house features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry, towels, linen, television and free wireless internet. The balcony has a gas barbecue and outdoor furniture making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with a magnificent view. Fishing gear is provided, while bicycles and canoes are available on request.
