It is only 45-50 mins travel to Cradle Mountain, 40 mins drive to Devonport, short distance drive to Mole Creek and Deloraine, 5 mins drive down the road to Tasmazia and Lake Barrington Rowing Course and also it is only 15 mins drive to the Mural town of Sheffield. Our property is surrounded by stunning mountains, valley and forest. You can get in touch with your inner self and spiritual side with nature. We like to share our travel experience and tales with you.

Cradle Alpine Retreat is designed with you in mind. The retreat is an oasis of romance, rest and a retreat away from all the busyness of life. Cradle Alpine Retreat blends comfort with a touch of wilderness to ensure a peaceful and relaxed stay. Cottages There are four self-contained cottages. All Cradle Alpine Retreat cottages have a well equipped kitchen, electric blankets, one cottage with a log fire and three cottages with spa baths, as well as the beautiful views of Mount Roland and Mount Claude. Restaurants For those that want to purely relax and not cook there are restaurants within driving distance. These restaurants include Lemonthyme Lodge, Peppers Cradle Mountain, The Black Stump at Gowrie Park, Bascilico Italian Sheffield, T's Chinese Sheffield and Sheffield Pub.

Set high up in the mountains of cradle country at an elevation of 530 metres, this beautiful 85-acre farm is peaceful and picturesque. The majestic presence of Mt Roland, Mt Van Dyke, Mt Claude and Black Bluff can be seen from various parts of the property with a stunning valley view sitting pretty at the rear of the plateau paddocks. Nestled in the heart of North West Tasmania with camping close to Cradle Mountain, the site is only a 35-minute picturesque drive from the National Park, 15 minutes from Sheffield the town of Murals and 5 minutes from Lake Barrington, perfect for swimming, rowing, water skiing, power boating and canoeing. It is also only 5 minutes from Tasmazia, with its model villages and endless mazes, with many walks and natural Tasmanian attractions close by. Campfires are permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood is also available. There are no amenities on site, so a camping toilet and water are required. Please note, that there are no dogs allowed on the property as this is a working farm.
