Bird and Wildlife Tour– 2 or-3 days / nights of the very best of Tasmania's birdlife and wildlife. Day one takes you to the spectacular alpine heights of Ben Lomond National Park or travel the forest backroads to Tasmania's highland forests to view an array of forest birds on the way to the Tyne Valley for a nature experience reviewed as one of Australia's best - the Quoll Patrol. Enjoy a campfire dinner with the kangaroos and the ambience of a crackling campfire before meeting some of Tasmania's charming wildlife characters. Day 2 and 3 - Northeast Tasmania offers diverse birding experiences with Pepper Bush Adventures, exploring habitats ranging from coastal heathlands and wet eucalypt forests to cool temperate rainforest and highland plains. Spot iconic species such as the Yellow Wattlebird, Green Rosella, and Tasmanian Native Hen, alongside other honeyeaters, robins, and raptors. Seasoned local guides lead you through private reserves, national parks, and quiet backroads, sharing insights into bird behaviour and habitat. Each outing offers exceptional opportunities to observe Tasmania's unique birdlife in its natural environment—ideal for both avid twitchers and nature-loving beginners.
